Hey, KCSN Family!
The Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season and our team broke down what that means moving forward for the reigning champs. We had on some great guests and opened up our fourth annual Soul of KC Holiday Raffle & Toy Drive. Let's dive into all of the highlights from this week.
Former K-State wide receiver Curry Sexton joined our own Cole Manbeck to help break down where things went wrong for the Wildcats against Arizona State. Manbeck was joined later in the week by tight end Will Swanson to discuss what Senior Day will mean to him, his football journey and how the team can get back on track.
Shawn Barber is joined by former Chiefs wide receiver and color analyst for the Chiefs Radio Network Danan Hughes. This was before the Chiefs loss to the Buffalo Bills, but the guys broke down the win against the Denver Broncos, being undefeated, other teams around the league and how they should have attacked the Bills.
KCSN Stats of the Week

This week's Substack article from KCSN Sports Data Scientist, Joseph Hefner
This week Joseph took a deep dive into the matchup and last weeks loss against the Buffalo Bills. Joseph said the analytics showed that the Chiefs were actually more successful on offense in success rate, but the Bills found a way to control the game and it showed by them running 16 more plays. Buffalo's ability to execute explosive plays outdid any success Kansas City had as well. He also took a deep dive on the up and downs of the Mahomes-Xavier Worthy connection. Read the full article and everything Joseph took away from the game from a data standpoint here!
